Morph Identifcation Help

Hi, need some help identifying. Mom was a Ghi Hidden Gene Woma Yellow Belly, and the Sire was a Cinnamon Albino Pewter with possible other genes.

@t_h_wyman What do you think about this one?

GHI Pastel. Given the high blushing, I would not rule out the possibility of YB

@t_h_wyman Ive noticed you have knowledge on morphs of ball pythons, do you have any clue on this little one?

Looks like a single gene Cinnamon

First one is a GHI HGW, second one is black pastel (not cinnamon).

@t_h_wyman Do you believe this could be correct?

Given there was no BlkPastel in the pairing, it is Cinny

Black pastel and cinnamon are commonly mixed up due to looking similar, but to my understanding, the distinction is that black pastel has “eyebrows” and cinnamon does not. This snake’s pattern looks to have eyebrows, so even if labeled cinnamon, I think it is likely black pastel instead.

You could always do a DNA test to check cinnamon vs. black pastel vs. barnhart black pastel if you’re interested in knowing exactly which one it is. It could very well be cinnamon but to my knowledge cinnamon doesn’t have eyebrows in the pattern.

I have never had Cinny in my collection and all my BlkPastel animals can be traced back to Outback origin. Over a decate plus of making them, I have had them with and without the “eyebrows” so that is not a guaranteed trait

If you plan to breed, it’s worth a test in my opinion, as it looks much more like black pastel to me than cinnamon. If you don’t plan to breed, it doesn’t really matter. It could be either.
