I was watching him on the infrared camera in the other room and saw him come out and he proceeded to drink an ungodly amount of water. He was there for a good 3-4 minutes lapping it up.
Anyone notice their geckos do this? I think a lot of them do drink out of the dish but it’s hard to catch them doing it. Maybe he was really thirsty or he’s got to poop or something.

My Leo’s will sometimes just drink a ton and then ignore the dish for a while. It’s part of the storage in the tail. Maybe he was also stocking up for some good basking time later
Yeah who knows. They are so mysterious sometimes but everything else is looking good except that he’s pissed I don’t have any more crickets and is refusing dubia.
Curious to know if he is starting brumation it’s been getting cooler.
