My BP seems to have neurological issues? I'm not sure

I purchased a female enchi leopard pastel BP in December 2024. She is almost 3 years old, and she has a wobble and kind of goes all over the place when I hold her. She eats well, sheds well, nothing else wrong. Just a wobble and some weird crazy twisting. Is this normal? (Note: This is my first BP.)

Do you have a photo of her so we can see what she looks like? Just in case of a misidentified morph.

Some snakes will get anxious and kind of just try to go anywhere any way they can.

The spider complex actually causes an inner ear issue that can look like neurological wobbling. It’s more like severe vertigo.

In the case of an actual neurological issue, there’s a list of things that can cause it.
-parasites
-severe bacterial infections
-viral diseases
-extreme temperature, too hot especially can cause this but cold can in some cases as well
-chemical fumes or topical treatments
-congenital issues

There’s a lot of things that you would need to possibly know about the snake’s history to know for sure. But as long as she’s healthy and eating well that’s the most important part

Looks to be the right ID.

Seems to have a good body condition too. So it could just be something they were born with or maybe had gotten too hot at some point.
One of my girls has a wobble that has become more pronounced as she grew. She doesn’t have spider complex genes. So you’re not alone on that.

Could an incubation have caused this? I have a juvenile female bull snake that has a wobble because of an incubation issue….

Yeah. That falls under congenital issues. They’re a trait, disorder, or condition present at or existing from birth.

There’s a small chance my girl could have picked up her wobble from a heat exposure. But it feels more likely that what I assumed was just the normal bit of excitement at feeding time for babies was just the start of her wobble.
