My First Clutch!”

:snake: FIRST-TIME BREEDER, FIRST-TIME FEMALE – 16 EGGS! :snake:
Location: Japan :jp:

Our Candycane male x Hypo Tessera het Lavender/Amel/Anery female just gave us her very first clutch – and she delivered 16 healthy, clean, fertile eggs.

:white_check_mark: Temperature/humidity fully stable
:white_check_mark: No slugs
:white_check_mark: Zero complications
:white_check_mark: Female ate TWO hoppers hours after laying (!!)
:white_check_mark: No retained eggs
:white_check_mark: Already recovered her shape
:white_check_mark: Eggs candle show strong vascularization

Managed without an incubator. Just environmental precision, deep observation, and a whole lotta love.

I monitored her daily before laying. The day before, her breathing subtly changed – that’s how I knew.
This wasn’t luck. It was instinct, prep, and connection.

Call me a breeder now – because this was real.

:camera_flash: Pics below. Let’s see what hatches soon. :hatching_chick:
Much love from Japan to the global herp fam!

Welcome to the forum @meru07 Meru! Greetings to you from the US! What a gorgeous pair of corn snakes! I am particularly partial to the candy cane corn!

Congratulations on a perfect clutch breeding from beginning to end! Or at least until the eggs start to pip!

I’m excited for you!
It still amazes me how the internet connects people so far away from each other so close together! It’s mind bending. At least for me it is!

Keep updating us here on the egg pipping and what pops out of them.:blush:

Edit to add: Much love to you and your Herp family in Japan!
