This one gets to become a breeder male, his temperment is astoundingly calm and friendly by comparison. Good genes.

Thats nice to see, I know some out there are reasonable to handle/interact with but some are still terrible. I’ve considered getting a small asf group going to see how they do for me.

I got an ASF to be buddies with one of my old bucks, absolute jerkwad, definitely not going out of his way to hate me but was just super afraid. Personally next time I get some I’m going to ask to put my hand in the container first or let them sniff me, generally local breeders let me do that for any rodents but sometimes they’re picky. Either way they’re super fun with markings despite the low color variation and they always look like their eyes are going to pop out of their heads which is funny
