I found this very cute oasis that i thought would go perfectly in my Hottentotta Franzwerneri enclosure. This species can be found near rivers and oasis. They don’t burrow but will make their homes under rocks etc. I noticed this oasis has a built in hide which will be cool. The trick with this species is that it can’t be too dry because thats bad for them but also too much moisture also is not good. Im going to fill the “pond” with gravel so it makes a shallow water source so the animal can’t drown if it were to climb in. The subtrate im going to do will be a soil/fiber/sand mix. I have slate pieces to make some rocky hides that i will hot glue together to prevent accidental cave in. I also have pebbles. Im excited for how this will turn out.
