I was thinking more like 10 snakes 
maybe its one of those things where they don’t really want to sell it so they put a high price and if someone actually did come up with that then they would.
I use to sell stuff at swap meet on the weekend but some stuff i wasn’t as keen to sell so id put a high price on them. Typically that toy would sit, but once someone bought. My parents would sometimes say i had too much stuff and needed to get rid of it so id gat extra cash to buy more stuff

I have seen snakes for sale there $50,000 & $60,000. And even one time year’s ago for $150,000. All of them did sell.

Thats crazy but if they got that much money to burn more power to them, i couldn’t see spending more than 2k on a snake but thats me, everyone has what they would pay max.
I thought the 1500 and my next at 1800 ea. Is really high.
I suppose if its a high end breeder who makes lots of sales and that animal will make them the money back i suppose its possible.
Since im sticking with Rosy boas perhaps if i had a fire AF morph i could probably get 2500 but itd have to be pretty special, i plan on keeping any special ones for my project so it will be several or more years before i can get some higher prices. I have no desire for large snakes of any kind so i will just stay with my niche.
Rosy boas are so underrated ( IMO only ) i think rosys are better than ball pythons ( I know, thems fighting words for some )heck they probably think Rosys aren’t all that. Rosys are way better beginner snake than balls, balls require too much and if things aren’t right they won’t eat. I have garbage disposal snakes, never turn down a meal ever, im sure they wouldn’t refuse a second meal, no id never feed them up.
I don’t mean to turn this into a my snake is better than your snake. Sorry if i went on my little explanation.

I remember visiting NERD a few years back when we were first looking for homes in NH. They had recently acquired their leucistic king cobra - a 12’ beauty, at the time. Dude said they paid more than a nice truck for it. I imagined high five figures. She was gorgeous!
I suppose if ya can afford to spend on an animal more than a truck ya could probably afford the hospital bill for the antivenin saw one bill 153k. Im not messing with hot snakes, i get bit by my non-venomous snakes enough, i don’t dare touch my scorpions. The ultra rich can afford to be frivolous with money.

thank you for posting these! I wish I could go but my parents (who aren’t in the reptile hobby) don’t really want to drive 14+ hours or pay for plane tickets for a two day reptile expo

Look on Google around your home area. There are probably expos happening closer to you.

There are 3 within 45 minutes. I meant I wish I could go to such a large expo with so much variety. They aren’t very big but I still think they are cool because they have pretty unique reptiles and are a lot of fun they just aren’t anything compared to tinley
