I am doing a project for my Master Herpetology course and I can not find what the average snout to vent length is for the common mudpuppy. Every source I can find only has total length. Does anyone know?

Does it need to be exact? If not I would use multiple pictures and figure out an approximate ratio of the body and tail length and use the total length to find the body length.

not exact but with some sort of source would be nice… the juveniles average 14-15 snout to vet with an average total length of 21-25mm. But that is the only source i can find that mentions any sort of stv length.

I found a brief mention of it here on page 80.
Edit: I found another mention here on the second page. I don’t know what ca. means but it might be helpful.

There were also lots of mentions of it here but I don’t see the actual data. If you have the time you might be able to find something.
