I don’t have a hoggie (the curse of living in a state they aren’t legal to keep! :weary:) so OP, certainly don’t listen to me lol. However, I would have been inclined to say female - the tail is a bit longer than the average female, but it seems to taper off pretty quickly from the cloaca, which I thought usually indicated a lack of hemipenes. Is it possible for it to be a female with a longer tail? Or if it’s a boy, would he just not be… ehm… “well-endowed”?

Ok @ghsaltie Erin! I am calling on your expertise to solve this question!

Is it Door #1 Male, or Door #2 Female?

This is one I would probe or shed test if wanting to know 100%. The tail is super long, but there is just enough taper there that I could see it being female instead.

Thank you! Also do you think I should probe it when its older? I don’t know if my scale is right but it said 7 grams. It’s also less than 8 inches long

And thank you so much to everyone that replied!

At that size I would not probe unless you’ve done it before and have micro probes.
I don’t know why but I was thinking this baby was bigger in the pictures. If it’s that small I’d go with male. I’ve never seen a long tailed female that long at that size.

To be fair, the first image also made me think it was a good bit bigger! :face_with_hand_over_mouth:
