New Cresty Momma

Hello!!
I am a new Cresty Momma, I rescued this little guy a couple weeks ago. (his name is titter)
I am trying to understand all the things, so any tips, tricks, or ideas would be great!

Any idea on the Morph?
He is also getting red colored scales, especially on the top of his head. They are not raised and don’t seem to be uncomfortable. Is it just a color change?

His previous enclosure provided no climbing / hiding space, so I am hoping he is just in a better environment!

He looks to be a dark base harlequin high % pinstripe

This is one you’d need either lineage or to prove to be 100% sure.
Definitely dark based, and high percentage pinstripe, and what would be considered a harlequin, but I can’t tell whether he’s so orange simply because he’s got a ton more orange pattern (OP) than white pattern (WP), or because he’s got the tangerine trait, or maybe both. From what I’ve seen, the pinstripe tends to be white if there’s even a little bit of WP in the gecko, and this one does seem to have white portholes and a bit of white near the tail root, but it’s pinstripe is orange, so it’s hard to tell what’s causing it…

Regarding the red scales, it’s completely normal, a lot of cresties get red scales around their body as they grow, afaik it’s not known why.

Welcome & congrats on your new gecko

There is so much info out there, if you have any questions just ask

I agree he looks to be a dark base high % pinstripe harlequin frogbut. With testers to the wp or op, I’m not sure and without lineage info or breeding, might be hard to say for sure.

I do love his golden glow, is he fired up in the picture?

Hello! He is fired up there, and takes on a very milky color when he is fired down!
