New geckos! Again…

So, went to a reptile expo, looking for some cork bark/drift wood for my next enclosure build…. Didn’t find any. But came home with two new geckos!

Wanted to see what others thought about these. I’m terrible at sexing and know they’re small, but tried to grab pics to see if anyone could tell.

Here’s the first one, my wife’s. It fires up to a much darker almost black where it’s currently grey. What would you call it, genetically?

And here’s my new one. Pics of it and its underside as well. The pattern on this guy really got me, it makes me think of a tiger but idk much about tigering in geckos and how that works… thoughts on it?

Edit:I just added a mostly fired up pic to the end of each picture real. @autumngeckos i see you’re replying so just tagging you in case it helps make you decision lol

They’re beautiful! Personally, Im more of a tiger-fan so im definitely more into the second one, but they’re both nice.

First one looks female, no pores and no obvious bulge.
Second one looks male cause there’s definitely pores.

The “female” looks like a dark-based whitewall pinstripe, possibly het EB, and possibly tangerine. It also has a tiny bit of snowflaking.

The male looks like a dark-based extreme harlequin partial pinstripe, with high tiger influence, and possibly a couple of dal spots.

So tigering in crested geckos is a fixed trait, meaning they all carry it, but depending on the specific line, the trait can have more or less influence. It also aligns the pattern vertically, whereas the pinstripe-trait aligns the pattern more horizontally.
Your geckos are a good example of one of each, one that has higher pinstripe influence resulting in pattern that is aligned more horizontally, and one that has higher tiger influence resulting in pattern that is aligned more vertically

Both lovely!

Sexing I agree on too!

Female dark based whitewall pinstripe with snowflaking.

Male is an extreme tricolour pin dash tiger with dal spots. Lots call them tigerquins. I myself hate the term :joy:
