I haven’t seen get on the dorsal that far yet. Thank you so much for clarifying. I’m gonna go take a look now ! I live this information.
Hello! First , I am so sorry, I haven’t responded to this comment or message until now. I appreciate you touching base on this subject regarding BcC lineage . I don’t know much about what localities Dave Collins or Doug matuzak (boa basement ) may have used back in the day . I just know that EVA IS THE ONE THAT SHOWED THE FIRST HIGH WHITE SIDES AND SHE WAS SOLD TO ME WITH PAPERS AS A SUPERGHOST BUT WAS NOT PROVEN AS A BABY. but she came from a long line of family tree breedings of ghost x ghost. X super ghost. Etc…i believe that is where this came from and I know for a fact Dave and Doug had no fire in their collective back in 2011 when I got Eva from Dave at rainbows r us. But maybe there is something to that whole BCC intergrade and the high white. Also i like your vision for your boas. I also love colorful boas and try to stay away from albino as much as possible. But I do hope to give albino Vpi and kahl a different paint job this time around and even carbon/beautiful this season is now underway…thank you for your comment /message. We are on YouTube if you want to follow our breeding progress.
@exoticconstrictordesigns hows the project coming along?
I have this Anery1 66% Kahl male. He is starting to show some of his sides like high white. I dont think he will prove out het Kahl because he has a different tone to him and dont see the markings I typicaly see for hets. However, I hope I am wrong and he proves out for me or someone else if he ever gets the chance. I was reaching out becsuse you came to mind given our conversation.
I mentioned to @tommccarthy befor that I thought he was Peruvian given scale count but he does have slight similarities to that golden brazilian coloration. Hard to know for sure because Anery playing a role and I did not originally produce him.
He has a strong yellow tone on his belly but then it turns greyish to whiteish going up the sides. It slowly increases but not extreme like some of the obviouse ones you have shown.
Adon, how are you doing? Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately this year we were unsuccessful in breeding A2 to the img dh snow(kahl) the male was bred last season so I think when I got him he was drowned of soldiers. Or my female just wants having it! And neither did any of my other females . So unfortunately bee had no season this year to talk about! On to prepping for next season. You boy exhibits the look of what I first saw when I started this project and would be a good idea to breeding to an animal with like traits to see if it reacts the same way! As for this project, As I stated in the very first post the original ghost white wall. Mom that bred the jungle double het square tail/kahl produced seven babies and it was subjective from animal to animal as to which ones had it or how much they showed and not all of them had it. But the ones that did have it were like five animals out of seven and I ended up raising those and I ended up keeping two for myself and I bred those two siblings together to try to prove it out. But I had one DOA and the other that was born was a runt but they both exhibited extreme versions of that white wall salt look which leads me to believe that there is a possible super form and we also bred those siblings to a normal wild caught import ( pastel pinkbelly) which was Autumn a2’s. Mom and A2 is the one that bred this last season but unfortunately this season was not able to produce again and give us any more babies to try to plug back into anything kahl wise. So as of right now I still have I think 9 or 10 babies from last season all her for Vpi and are also possible heterozygous for T1 Henry call albino and square tail but how much and which babies I can’t say. But as you know, anery does have what people call visual expressive traits of the heterozygous form like the silver eyes and whatever. So I have a good feeling that some of these animals could prove hat. Henry, so if that’s something you’re interested and I do have some males and females that could probably do that for you and you could see how that works out but they’re not her kahl
I am good. I was just thinking about what you had said and noticed it was comon in anery. Some have the oposit with darker scales because of coral playing a factor. This guy stood out at possibly fitting into your project. I am most likley not going to breed him and use him mostly to getting other males going. He is extremely docile and my kids play with him. I have other geneticly established males I rather use then try and prooving his 66%het out. I will just keep him as a pet for my kids until someone buys him.
