New here, from US

Hi, new here from Ohio USA! She/her, you can call me tripleb or triple, whatever works. I love ball pythons! I got into them when I was a kid, because I really wanted a bird, but my dad hated birds, so I was like “what about a snake?” and that was that! I’ve had one ball python named Regius, got him from Petsmart, but he died shortly after I got him. I’m looking to get another one now, I can’t wait! I’m pretty much a beginner, so any helpful tips are fantastic!

This is not the first post I’ve made, I saw the introductions topic after I had made my first post.

Welcome to the wonderful community here! You’re going to find so many peeps here who share your love of snakes. If you need help, there are so many experienced, highly knowledgeable individuals who are happy to share their information and their passion in a positive, supportive way. (Not me for BPs, lol. Not tooting my own horn.) And we’re all happy to share the joy.

I love how you fell into having a snake. Wishing you every success with whatever snake you choose!

Hey there! Sorry your friend passed. It’s probably best to get your next one from a breeder.

Hello and welcome to the group! Sorry about your misfortune with little Reguis. As Dean said above, it would truly be better to buy a snake from a reputable breeder. You can never be certain what you are buying at the big box stores.

You have come to the right place for advice and information from reputable breeders here!

Yes, I’ve looked into morphmarket, they seem much better than a pet store!
