So i never have let my snakes free roam before i just tried a little session with flame and he took off but seemed just curious after he got over the table is going to eat me wait i can touch it i dont usually even try it because iron man doesnt like people that much and im trying to work with him on that plus kids and dog and cat (always put up in respective rooms when snakes are out) i know to watch vents and hidy holes and to just generally keep track of them but what other precautions should i take i honestly took him off the table after 2 minutes i was nervous sense he was searching for probly a hide or a way off but my arm was tired of being the tree and i dont want flame to become unsocialized like iron man and cinnamon i just got so shes just plain nervous because everything is new so i havent tried much with her besides seeing if she will come out to investigate with me when i open her door but he just seems curious about the world and didnt seem to stress him out to much besides being on the move to find a spot that he liked

If you feel the room is not safe for free rome, you could use a play pen.
Im not sure free roaming helps maintain socialisation.
Green Room Pythons has some good videos on both free roaming, play pens and socialisation.

I like green room pythons ive watched a lot of his videos ill have to look at more of his free roam ones im more nervous about it then flame is
