Hey everybuddy, my name is Pearl, I’m thirty something years young and I live up near Bartlesville in the Osage Hills of NorthEast Oklahoma , I am a full time fine artist and illustrator in traditional mediums and I have been doing domestic and wildlife rehab and rehoming or release since I was knee high to a grasshopper. 
I have a love for animals that just will not stop, especially those that are often maligned and misunderstood. Like…snakes. 
I grew up mostly with my grandparents on their farm/ranch in rural Central Oklahoma. My grandfather was a country veterinarian and my grandmother had a great love and care for all animals that was instilled in me from an early age. We were always taking care of some animal until it was time to ‘let it loose’, if it could in fact be released back into the wild.
I have lost track of how many different kinds of animals I have been priviliged to know and care for since then. For me, it all started with skunks and opposums and bobcats, turtles and tortoises, the occasional rat snake and of course dogs, cats, various Native and Exotic birds, horses, goats, cows etc.
When I was in my mid teens I started focusing on wolf and wolf dog rehab and rehoming when possible. It was both an amazing and heartbreaking experience that I got out of in my mid twenties.
That was about the time that I started working with rehabbing and rehoming non-venomous snakes and various other reptiles, just through word of mouth in the community.
This time three months ago, I had five royal pythons in my care and then I discovered the MorphMarket and well, I may have went a little crazy…but I am calming down and realigning myself and my purpose.
Other than a deep love for creating beauty and caring for animals, I also enjoy reading and studying on a broad variety of topics and going on the occasional adventure.
