Old old sweet lady :)

This is my retired breeder- now pet -rat Tinkerbell (named by my niece).

(Feb. 3rd 2026)

(Sept 2023)

She’s my first rat ever and was the starter to my now huge rat breeder colony. I can’t believe i’ve had her almost 3 years now… she’s active and curious as if she was still young, but her age has made her seemingly more lovable as she’s taken to snuggling under my hand when she’s out more often.

Awwwww! I had some blue rats long ago. Two girls. They developed cysts/cancer and both died within weeks of each other. They were great! Pookie and Hippy, names from the Soupy Sales show……

Can anyone name the other 2 characters on show?

Awww… She still has a cute baby face

Rats are such good little guys. I need to work with my group more since I’ve been spending less time with them until recently. Some are getting a bit flighty.

My favorite right now is a little double rex momma. She’s been super sweet with her kids. And she still thankfully hasn’t changed her sweet temperament on me with my downtime.

I love her baby face

She’s got a super soft coat too compared to any of my other rats

Tinkerbell is adorable. Rats make great pets. We haven’t had one, but I have always liked them. Thanks for sharing her sweet li’l ole face with us!

@caron, you stumped me. I had a jigsaw puzzle with the Soupy Sales cast. The background was school bus yellow and they were all on it. I remember White Fang and Pookie and Hippy. I can’t remember the other. I do remember the pies in the face!

I think the other one was Black Tooth? Sure brings black memories doesn’t it?:smiling_face_with_three_hearts:
