I have this gal, she’s not ready for breeding yet (and neither am I) but I’ve been doing some research on breeding for the future and would love to hear some suggestions as far as genetics goes for a potential pairing. My gal is a : blood emerine, tangerine, clown, g project, pos het tremper and pos het eclipse,
I adore her, and I’m not breeding to make money, but I would rather not get a bunch of normals/ albinos , so if anyone knows what other combination of genes could make for some cool offspring pls lmk!

Other than the possible hets, that’s all polygenic/line bred. That’s an animal for selective breeding (which is hard, and takes experience even to attempt, and isn’t really a casual project), not combining genes.
If a person wanted to get into leo breeding, starting with some simple recessive and dominant genes is a good place to start. Then, work into some of those that have a little unpredictability or complexity to them (like W&Y). Only then consider refining existing line bred stuff. Along the way you’ll figure out the market, and get a better idea of whether you can even sell what you produce (as opposed to having to basically give them away and hope they don’t show up in a rescue).

Realistically, I’d just keep the ones that have the genes I like, but I already have talked with local mom and pop places that would be glad to sell on behalf of me (ig like a vendor type thing lol ) I just didn’t know if the only way to get something “cool” , visually, was to pair her with the same genes or if there was other genes I maybe hadn’t considered yet. I wish morph markets genetic calculator made any sense to me, bc I’d just buy a gecko with the exact same, traits as her (maybe minus the albino) but idek if her genes require albino
im so new its like wtf how do I start with her vs having to buy a simpler morph and starting there. If that made any sense at all, if it didn’t I’m so sorry
