Hi can anyone guide me how to identify yellow belly in yellow belly pastel clown?

Yellowbelly leaves a checkerboard pattern along the edges of the belly scutes. This is identifiable in many combos, including pastel yellowbelly clowns. Flaring and color changes can also help make a yellowbelly ID, but the most reliable feature of yellowbellies, in my opinion, is the checkerboard pattern.
Here is a photo of a pastel yellowbelly clown taken from World of Ball Pythons, originally produced by Graziani, that shows the checkerboard pattern very nicely. I’ve circled the most obvious part of the pattern. Hopefully this helps.
