Thought I’d post this. Im an avid viewer of “The King of Random” on youtube.
Recently they did a video of “what will keep a plant alive” . They used a club soda, seltzer water (not tonic!) to see if it will perk up a “sad” plant.
I CAN confirm it works. I have a Sodastream. I was struggling with African Violets in my vivarium, it has perked up…along with my habanero plant I have in my basement and another undisclosed plant that I may or may not be growing.
If you have a struggling plant, get a $1 liter of club soda and water your plants. If you have a Sodastream…juice those plants! It’s like steroids for them.
