Please help me help my leopard gecko

@watchout1 I read some of ur posts on ur leopard gecko…is there anyway for you to email me …i need some urgent help with my leo who i belive has a RI… took her to the vet yesterday, Because I thought she was starting to show signs of slight m. B. D, And also found her in her cage upside down… but it’s weird because she’s 3 years old And just recently, like within the last 2 weeks started showing these slight signs. I’ve took an excellent care of her…her Temps are perfect. The humidity is perfect. She has a cool hide , & a Humid hide… And other things to crawl on & other decorations in the cage… I always dust her bugs with calcium and a multi vitamin from arcadia…The day I found her upside down. In her cage, I immediately called the vet and took her in the following day, which was yesterday Friday February 7th 2025…He didn’t have the proper size needle In office so he wasn’t able to run any tests… but by looking at her behavior ( She also turned over in office) He thinks it’s a good possibility She has adenovirus… which is uncurable …Shes not doing well today, gasping for air & vets closed till Monday… don’t know if she’ll make it that long… please just have a few questions about the baytril… please send me a email so i can explain further.....mamaquiles86@gmail.com

You need to find an emergency vet asap even if its not near you.

If she has a RI it shouldn’t need to be diagnosed by jabbing her with a needle (I assume for blood tests?). It looks like she is holding her back legs awkwardly in the video you shared.

I absolutely would not wait for anyone to contact you, just focus on finding an emergency vet/vet hospital that can take your girl in because she needs treatment. Make calls and see who can get you in the soonest.

I agree…it looks like she’s acting impacted or eggbound. She needs to be seen by a vet ASAP.
