Please Help me identify these morphs

Hi,

i am about to purchase a boa and i have to choose between two available female babies. I am told that one of them is a sharp albino. I am totally new to boas but can’t find a similar pictures on the net in order to compare and see how the colors will develop once she become an adult. Is is possible to help me identify it and find a suitable adult size photo?

The other female i was told it is a super salmon jungle so if you can help me also on that as to how the colors will develop and if the morph i was told is correct, i will be much grateful to everyone!

Here is the second girl

I don’t have any photos to provide, sorry!

But if you go to Morphmarket, go to the Boas category > Boa constrictors and then go to the filter menu > Traits, type in the morphs you are interested in and select “No additional Traits”, then go to “Maturity” select whichever maturity you’d wish to see and lastly go to “Availability” and select “All” you should be able to see what you are looking for.

Hope that helps!

In the other post about the albino or sunglow difference, I have info on albinos for you near the beginning of that post.
All albinos yellow out as adults. Some do have more red / pink colors in them, but the base color will be yellow.

The super hypo jungle you are thinking about looks nice. But like smite said, it kind of looks like there might be mites in the water dish. Hopefully, it’s just dirt.

As your boa is a baby and not a proven adult breeder. To be a super hypo, both parents would have to be super hypos to.
So check with the breeder.

Breeding two hypos will produce a few super hypos. But the only way to prove a boa to be a super hypo is to raise it to an adult and breed it to a none hypo boa or a albino. If all the babies come out hypos or sunglows, the hypo adult is a super hypo.

I prove my super hypos out with breeding them to albinos. This way, all the babies are sunglow. It’s easier for me to sell baby sunglows than baby albinos.

I do have a good idea what babies should prove out to be supers now. But ot only a guess. And I have to see them on the day they are born. The supers just have a very different look to them. But after a day or two, they look like most of my other sunglows.

Now, for hypo jungles, their base color will be tan with a little red in them as adults. And their colors just pop more than other boas.

Here are some hypo jungles for you to check out. From baby to adult.

Hope all this helped.

Thank you much for your detailed reply and all the info provided. Due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn’t able to reply back sooner.
I got my baby boa home and now is enjoying her new home. I will post some pictures of her if you could help me with the morph. It’s a sibling of the one from the above and I was told it’s hypo jungle het blood het albino (sharp) but can’t really be sure, so any help will be much much appreciated!

Yes, it is a hypo boa for sure. Hopefully, it is a het Sharp albino and het blood. The head shape and eye color, in my opinion, look like a blood boa to me. I’m not sure about jungle in your boa. Post some top full body view pictures of your boa. Then I can give you my opinion. Also, get some pictures of the parents and post them if you can.

I personally don’t like the blood genetics in any of my boas. As the blood gene is a smaller boa. I like my boas to be big. I have been breeding for bigger and more color in my boas.

Now that if you plan on breeding, all your boas need to be Sharp or het Sharp albino. Kahl albino is not compatible with sharp albino.

Thank you for all the details! I will be back with better top body pictures but for now I have only these two if they can help a little.

Thank you and I will post more pictures tomorrow!

Hi Tom!

Here are the top body pictures! Totally appreciate every detail you can tell or any accurate source of info you can share!!

I don’t see the horizontal two-tone line on your boa. But the tail saddles do have the cream color around them. If I owned this boa, I would say it’s a possible jungle. Have you been able to talk to the breeder who produced it? Or have pictures of the parents?

All my opinions are just guesses. You will have to breed it to prove all genetics. If I owned it, I would get a albino or sunglow sharp to breed it to. Not a het Sharp albino. This way, if your hypo turns out, not het for Sharp, all the babies will be 100% het Sharp. It’s hard to sell possible het babies.

Thank you so much Tom. Your help is truly appreciated! I will keep an eye for a future male!
