Hi please can someone help me with my little ones morph. I got him/her recently but have no idea what morph this could be. The person I got our little Groot from did tell me what they believe it is, but I strongly doubt it to be true

Looks to be just a dark base with chevron markings on the back. What where you told this little one was?
How big is it currently (weight)? Looks like a dark-based phantom

I was told Axanthic, hence why I didn’t believe it. 
it doesn’t really matter what morph the little one is, I’d just like to know for knowledge purposes

Our little one is still very small. Only 4g at the moment. He/She isn’t our first Crestie and we actually have hatchlings of our own at the moment (tri coloured lily whites). If I didn’t have the prior care requirements knowledge (not only with cresties) I wouldn’t have taken a baby this small. But the person I got the little one from didn’t even ask 
. I’m just not as knowledgeable yet regarding their morphs, but I am trying my best to educate myself

I mean it could be, but that would be entirely dependent on lineage. Axanthics cannot be IDed simply by looking at a photo, since the axanthic phenotype isn’t always super obvious and may overlap with some lines of non-axanthic. You need to either prove it out through breeding, or have lineage + photos of what it looked like at hatch. Was it the breeder/previous owner who told you?
