Quarantining Ball Pythons

I currently have a corn snake that I have had for about 3 years and I am now planing to get a ball python in the near future. I have heard that when you add a new snake to your collection you should quarantine it to make sure the snake is healthy and avoid spreading illness. Do I need to do this when I only have two snakes? And if so what should I do to quarantine?

Yes everytime you bring a new animal in it should be quarantined that means, different room, different equipment used, always work with your established snake first and the new addition last. Once you work with your new addition do not return to your other snake.

Quarentine should last at least 30 to 90 days, the longer the better.
