Hey,
I have a question about rats with growths/cancer. I found on one of my female rats two lumps, they grew pretty quick like in a week. Can I still fed her to my snake? There is nothing necrotic or anything on the lumps and its pretty small too.

Rats are prone to developing abscesses. They can appear as a lump with no actual scab or visible infection because they form a cheesy capsule of infection and not something that will easily discharge. So it can be difficult to distinguish them apart.
If you have euthanized the animal first and cut the area open and it’s just flesh, I don’t see an issue with it … But even with my own rats I breed, I usually will only feed off females with mammary tumors. They are sadly very prone to it and it is aggressive as heck. Any other lump I generally don’t wanna bother with.
Hey, okay thank you
Those lumps are actually direct under the first two nips.
