Oh sorry, that wasn’t the point of my post. I was just saying that I physically cannot afford one since it seems like I always am short for money when you come out with big announcements like this😅. I am going to be honest and say that I would be will to pay more than that as to me, $15 for over 4 hours of work seems like you are underestimating your talents. At least that is a small improvement in just how broke I am. I had been stuck at $27 for the past 2 weeks.

I totally feel that, every time I get a little bit of cash I need to buy a cap and gown or suddenly I need to pay for an exam or this or that

I appreciate this, but unfortunately as an artist the only way to really get commissions is to undervalue the time it takes. Just the way it works!

If you are getting paid for something you love doing, then that little extra cash just seems like a huge bonus. Kind of like me collecting driftwood, I love hanging out by the creek so why not just collect it while I am there and sell a bit of it here or there.

Exactly! I don’t mind lower prices than perhaps something is ‘worth’ especially when doing it for friends on here, plus any money helps!

I’ve drawn at least once a week since I was probably 8 years old, nowadays its at least once a day. It just takes time, and it never has to be ‘good’ to bring you joy!!
I’m very excited to try out an old pokemon style, it seems so fun

I do draw every once in a while (I should do it more, I just get artists block, because I know what I want to make, but I can’t actually make it) But I have never drawn “right” as I just kinda free hand everything. I have a good base down, but it’s tough sometimes
