Reptile Morph Art Series

Thank you guys! I like to joke that I put 110% effort into everything I do, and unfortunately that also includes injuries, ha! I can never seem to get hurt in a casual, ‘better in a few days’ sort of way :joy:

Each stamp was hand carved and took around an hour each, so the designs themselves would be around 8 hours total. Then each stamp was applied to the shirt individually which took another 1. hours or so - so the shirt is about 10 hours total!

But now I can use those same stamps in any design I want, so this process is very front-heavy like that

In line with reptile morph art, I once toyed with horses having snake color/species patterns - this one was based on a Pueblan milk snake, iirc! :joy:

Back in my MS Paint Deviantart HARPG days… Cringe but fond memories! :face_savoring_food:

:joy:. Sometimes I sure wish I knew what you young folk are talking about :joy::joy::joy: But don’t even try to explain because I’m too old to understand things such as this! I’m from the olden days when I did my best art/drawings and an ETCH A SKETCH :writing_hand:!!!

I bet @caryl remembers this toy as well…..

ArtFight is an online community and ‘game’ of sorts where artists choose a team to join, and earn points for drawing other peoples’ characters - the more you draw, the more points you and your team gets! Its a fun way to build community and encourage people to draw a lot during July

The online art community has lots of fun activities like this that people can get involved with: MerMay (prompts for a mermaid a day in May), Jurassic June (follow prompts to draw one dinosaur per day in June), Inktober (following prompts to draw spooky things using only ink during October) - and many more!

Was going through some old art trying to find some neat stuff for printing.
Had a good laugh when I found this one.

Little doodle of a Jurassic Park style Rex with lips. This was a while back from when the lip discovery had been made through some new fossil findings. Hahah

Cursed with rex arms, she’s gonna need help to apply lipstick to those smackers :joy:
