Reticulated python help

Hi everyone! Some of you may remember I post about my male retic with abscess in his jaw a couple months ago! We took him to the vet and the abscess has disappeared luckily, but he’s been sneezing for like the last week or two and I’m getting concerned I don’t see any excess saliva or anything and he’s eating regularly, but he been pushing like crazy! He is former breeder which kind of explains it but I’m worried he screwing up his face. Hes 6 years old and about 7 feet long, his enclosure is 7x2x2 heated with a radiant heat panel hot spot around 90 degrees ambient around 80_85 degrees. Humidity is around 50-65% he has 2 hides the exact same on either side. And large basking shelf right under the panel. Any help is great thank!

I’m glad the little guy is doing better!

I had luck getting my male to stop pushing by lowering the temps a bit in his enclosure. He’s got a hot spot of 86F and the ambient is around 76-83.

Snakes don’t technically sneeze, but they will get pretty huffy and sound like it sometimes. Hopefully it’s just because of the pushing and some irritation.

If it seems like some of that swelling from before is coming back I would take him for a check again with the vet. Sometimes abscesses have a frustrating tendency to come back after a bit of any bacteria was left hanging around.
