Hi I am new to keeping snakes. Is it possible to house a garter and a ribbon together? Thanks

I think yes only if the size difference isn’t too much between the 2 snakes ik ribbons r very small

so if they are both babies it’s fine?

I wouldn’t recommend it. Chances are it could end with one trying to eat the other, especially since ribbon snakes tend to smaller than garter snakes. Best to not mix different species of snakes together in an enclosure since many are fine with eating other snakes. If you want to cohab snakes, just stick with garter snakes in one enclosure and ribbons in another (though I can’t find anything on if ribbons are ok with being kept together).
