Rude email from new user, what to do?

Hello, i enjoy email from morphmarket members, but today i got an email calling ma “a dumb ass” and hoping i would get a big lizard so it could “end me” and insulting my white throat’s name, Pele “(which is a stupid name btw)…” the email gets pretty rough and the person states “. I literally made this account to make this post as I laugh at you dumb (insert ugly language”)

This person obviously has some problems, anger, hurt jealousy, pain… but i worry that he/she will make hurtful comments to a younger user or someone who is fragile. I would like to be able to forward the email to morphmarket to be addressed in some manner, but was unsure how to do so. (I didn’t want to post it because some of the language is pretty ugly)

Hi, so sorry about that! We saw the message shortly after it was posted, and the user has been silenced and suspended and their post removed

If anything, I would also keep an eye on any other socials or sites you use as well. Or anyone that thinks you may have slighted them. Maybe a bad customer interaction somewhere?

Trolls are always going to troll, but it almost feels like that was a very pinpointed attack since they pulled up your post from so long ago and not a more recent post.

As Hilary noted, that person has been dealt with here on the board, but if they are approaching you via email or other means, please contact the MM support team support@morphmarket.com and let them know as they can remove the user from MorphMarket entirely

I don’t know who I might have made angry. I don’t have any customers, my store has never gotten off of the ground. I haven’t been very active since my husband passed away. ( I hope I didn’t make someone feel slighted from neglect) I will forward the email I received to support. I hope the person gets some help so they can stop feeling so angry.

I suspect the email you received was just a notification/copy of the response to your post on here depending on how you have your settings, unless it was a personal email directly from them to you

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your husband as well as that very sad post. I am sure the staff here will do their utmost to protect you. You certainly have a very kind outlook about it.
