Hello! I was wondering if anyone has some pictures of/advice for a Russian Tortoise enclosure? Getting ready to build one, and was looking for ideas

Are you going to build a tortoise table, tank, or pen? Or aren’t you sure yet? I built a tortoise table here if you need ideas. Make sure the tortoise can’t see out the sides since it can confuse them. If you go for a tank you can just cover the first few inches of height.

I still need to come up with a screen lid, but i put this together tonight…
What type of substrate do you recommend? I use coconut husk in everything else…

That looks great! I don’t have hands-on experience with tortoises but according to this care sheet cypress mulch is an ideal substrate.
