I’ve come across many different species of snakes on our property here in Dade City, FL (East Pasco Co), including several Scarlet Kingsnakes. But this might be one of the coolest snakes I have EVER found!

Shortly after taking these photos, I released this amazing snake…after an hour of thinking about it non stop, I had instant regret. Fortunately, it hadn’t strayed far in the mulch bed where I released it. Knowing that getting this species to eat can be troublesome, I figured I should work on that first. Last night I offered four anoles into it’s tank, and let it be. Happy to report that as of this morning, only three anoles remain!
