Well… If it was sold as a Barnhart, I would be inclined to trust a name like that in the industry.
But on the other hand… lol. I just had the same problem but with BEL genes. I tested one for Special because it was a super mojave or Crystal. It tested negative so I decided what the heck. And tested Mojo to be sure cause it is very crystal looking. Single gene Moj. So looks like I have Noco Or TGR Special not Baker line. And my original breeder was purchased from Baker lineage.

It was sold as a Black Pastel, Chocolate. So if its a cinnamon im gonna be a little peeved. Because i also never hit anything chocolate from that female.

I feel like it shows how seriously needed shed testing really is. Great service RGI is providing.

To my eye, it looks BlkPastel. But I do not work with Clown so…
What was the pairing? That may influence my answer
Also, I will add that sometimes tests do go wrong, it is not with a high frequency, but it does happen. So might not be a bad idea to ask Ben to re-run the BlkP assay on this one just in case

pairing for the pictured animal was Black Pastel, Spotnose, Het Clown x OD, Fire, Blade, Clown
These are my two holdbacks from the “black pastel” chocolate female i bought. No longer own her. I had both these girls labeled as Black Pastel Spotnose. All my current “black pastel” hatchlings are from these two girls.
