Shedding Difficulties

My girl icy now had her (second shedding with me). I was unable to get her to do a full shed in one piece and there is some small amounts of stuck shed on her . Any recommendations that should do to help her get the tiny bits left off of her? My first shedding with her was successful in one piece so I’m not to sure on what to do for this.

Soak her in water that isn’t cold or hot. Try to have it in the mid 80s temp wise. Plastic tubs with some small vent holes are the easiest way to do that. Leave it in there for 30 minutes or until the shed comes off easily by just rubbing your hand over it. Make sure the tub isn’t in a cold room where the water temp will drop while it’s soaking.

If its too stuck on and a soak does not work. Just for me I have found most successful for me is a small tub with air holes filled with wet sphagnum moss.
Failing that put the snake in a wet snake bag
But not soaking as that will reduce air flow. Wring it out. and I keep it to an hour at a time.

How much water should I use in the plastic bin? Just enough to cover her whole body ? Or just half of her body?

Enough to cover about 2/3-3/4 of her body but keep it so she can easily keep her head above water. You can leave her in there for up to an hour if the water doesn’t get cold.
