Even though I kept leopard geckos not too long ago I am still not very well versed on alot of the genes but does the raptor gene affect the eye color? The eyes seem much more striking than a normal leo.
Yes, Raptor contains the recessive eclipse gene, which causes either solid eyes or “snake eyes,” which is a multi-colored eye shown in the photo. Many eclipse animals also have two differently colored eyes.
