In terms of just outright cost? That would be my firefly het VPI girl Bellatrix. But with price of the snake on top of vet bills and time put into care it would be my rat snake Polaris. Polaris is also completely unique.

Here is Bellatrix. She is finally 400 grams empty as of today.

And here is Polaris

Hey, I wanted to revive this thread since we have lots more people active in the community now!

My most expensive invert is Cubaris sp. White Pigeon. I have around 50 at around $50/ea.

I am pretty basic, and my most expensive reptile is my Wild-type Leopard gecko, but am currently working on that :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My new baby blood python, Mina, is my most expensive reptile in terms of purchase price. She’s “just” a beautiful normal with no known hets, so she wasn’t super expensive (I think she was $250 plus shipping), but all my other pets I’ve had in the last decade or so have been rescues or re-homes that I got for “free” (though of course no animal is actually free, since they all cost money to feed, house, and otherwise care for). So Mina is the most expensive by default, since she’s the only one I paid actual money for, haha. But she’s worth every penny and then some!

I have no regrets, she’s so lovely and perfect. She’s a dream come true  (Which is probably why I won’t shut up about her, as some of you have no doubt noticed by now, haha.)

I love seeing people’s older reptiles. Like I know the lifespan possibilities but where are they all. I’d love to see a thread dedicated to our senior animals

Think this tread needs a revive! Currently I would say it probably has to be Potato my northern blue tongue skink. I got him right before the blue tongue prices dropped so if I am remembering properly he was $375 with tax. However he has been a very quick grower and reached 20” by 1 and is coming up on 24” as of now. He is now a breeder age, large male who has some nice patterns and colors. I would say he would go for close to $400 currently but if I was at an expo near me, probably closer to $5-600 as for some reason the price of them near me is absolutely insane.

Both of my current geckos were about the same price, but I paid more for shipping for my male. Here’s Starfall!

I need more pics of my geckos, I have like two on my laptop :joy:

Mine is of course my Maxx Pink Argentine boa Dratini! I got her for $2,000 (or $2,500, i can’t remember lol) and i’m currently looking for another Maxx Pink so i will have spent a good amount on snakes lol. She should shed any day now and i’ll be able to have a nice photoshoot with her since it’s the perfect weather out!

My IMG het VPI boa, Lenore, is now my most expensive snake by far. Only morph animal I own, so of course she was a bit more spendy than my wild-type (and gorgeous) blood python I mentioned earlier in this thread. She cost me $800. So, so worth it.
