Show Off Your Cresties 🤩

Gingerbread Latte is actually orange not yellow, she just wasn’t fired up, this is her fired up (poor lighting though)

I have a couple of extreme pinstripes that have yellow, one I plan to breed next year :crossed_fingers:

If love to see fired up pictures of your Geckos  do you think they will all keep the colour red?

That first pic of Hershey is adorable!

@madelines_morphs Their head is SO BIG! Definitely my favorite (I know I’m not supposed to have favorties…)

@foxreptile It’s so hard to get them on camera fired up. It just doesn’t do it justice. I’ll have to look to see if I have any fired pics. I can generally get pictures of the adult ladies fired, but the littles are hard. I think they will stay red/orange…a few have such a dramatic change…they look almost white, and then they fire almost a rust color. It’s wild.

You can have a fav it’s ok we won’t tell
Mine will always be Kaneki as he was my first boy :orange_heart:

Kain will always be my favorite for the same reason. Being able to help rehab him was wonderful, and I made it clear if my friend was going to downsize, I was taking him. And here we are. He’s the only animal that I’m “Auntie” to, and “Mom” comes to visit often. Yes, it’s silly.

I still can’t go over his change. Seeing the photos this morning kinda made me realize how bad he was.

I also noticed some of the babies have red dal spots, which is exciting!!

I think we all have favourites, mine is honeycomb but that’s because of his awesome personality, plus his a high white extreme. But I do love them all, they reach have special qualities :relaxed:

Yes getting them fired can be challenging lol

Getting them fired isn’t so much the problem as capturing it on camera. I’m going to look through my photos to see if I can find some comparisons.

They fire such a deep red they almost look brown. So they look brown in the pictures.

Who knows, I’m a noob when it comes to colors/morphs. I’m likely wrong. :joy:

Best way to determine is get outside pics!

They all look ‘normal’ which is like a buckskin colour.
But get some outside ones if you can and when fired!

Maybe when they’re a little bigger and I feel brave enough to get them outside. :flushed:

Haha that’s alright! Not everyone feels comfortable doing it :relaxed:

You going to be keeping them all? Or finding homes? You’re gonna need a lot of vivs if not

We are keeping them all. Matt put his foot down.

Oh yes. I’ve been doing research on different set ups for when they need to make the transition. I’d like to pair up some of the females if possible, and keep the two frogbutts together. They’re all slow growers, so they’ll be able to hang in the songmics for a bit longer.

We may be moving back to my family home in the next year or two, so we will have much more space. Already planning on who is going where. :woman_facepalming:

What sizes do you keep your adults in for Exos? Do singles have smaller enclosures? I need all the inspiration.

I agree they look buckskin but natural light pics will help. I use our conservatory for pics as it’s bright, well as bright as England gets lol

I forgot do you have the parents or just take the babies?

I wouldn’t recommend smaller than 45 X 45 X 45 for 1 bit ideally bigger is better. I keep 2 females in 45 X 45 X 60.

My first gecko was a dwarf, she lived in 30 X 30 X 45 but that’s because she was tiny and didn’t do well in a bigger home.

I find my Geckos grow quicker with more room they have, usually anyway! They also grow slower in winter time

So for the males they each have a 45x45x60. And the females live in pairs of trios in 60x45x60.

So tough wood you have lots of females!

Yes, we also have the parents. They’re all set enclosure wise, and have their own exos.

I legit had to remember that you’re doing cm. :woman_facepalming:

So the three adult girls are in a 60x45x60.

Kain has his own that’s probably a 60x45x45. It’s better for him in case he falls.

Yes, I’m hoping for lots of females. Easier to name, lol. I’ll be asking how to introduce them to one viv soon. I’m anxious for that part, I think.

With me I just put them in and watch.
Big Mama has accepted every female but Crème brûlée and Cherry didn’t really like Penny. That’s the only issues I’ve ever had. Then again wasn’t a problem as went into other vivs

But with them small it’s easier

I think I’m more worried because there was already bullying going on. How do you know when to pull the plug? Pair them up and add more from there? How do you know who to pair?

Sorry, so many questions!
