Yeah, i have 2 of those buggers mixed in my potions, but if i try to knock them off ill lose my ghestroi and MPs to the horde xD
I dont know if it makes them breed any faster since they group together at the surface once a week, but it definitely helps with getting a head count haha.
That would actually be a really good thing to test. I would guess yes.
I have some sort of dwarf species in with my Clowns, but no idea how to get it out. I have only seen one, and it ended up releasing its brood the day after discovering it. It must have come with my new clowns as I don’t own this species. It is definitely not Dwarf White or Purple, or any Trichorhina spp. for that matter, but it is definitely tiny. My guess is on A. lentus, but the mature adult I found was only 3-5mm at max. I guess only time will tell as the unknown dwarfs slowly but surely flood my Klugii bin.
Given the same circumstance, if i had to seperate them, i wouldnt even attempt getting the smaller ones out, instead, i would make a new container and carefully move the klugi there. If you miss a few of the small ones they will reproduce and reinfest, but if you miss a few klugi, it wont really matter, and the relocated ones will make a clean colony in the new bin.
Yep, they are supposedly the largest Armadillidium we have in the US.
I went to an expo today and picked up these awesome little guys!
Porcellio flavomarginatus
This was one of the best expos I’ve been to. Typically they’re very ball python heavy which is of course awesome, but this one had a ton of invert vendors!
Very very cool. Those are on my want list!
Very dope!
I thought that these guys were more pinky? Did you get a morph and split out to prove out?
It could be the lighting or that they ate something dark.
There are some lines that were refined for brighter/deeper pink, while some were chosen for higher white/light pink. It is simply the two lines present in the “papaya” morph.
This past week I found some Papaya PIEBALDS! I have 4 for sure, but possibly more. I will catch some pictures when I get home from school.
I am thinking of calling them my Pinky Pieds.
That’s awesome!! I definitely want to see pictures if you can get some!
It’s what they’re eating right now, I believe. They had watermelon and Repashy Morning Wood that week, the dark color more than likely comes from the Morning Wood powder.
Thank you! Also @bughunter07 get us some pictures please of those pieds!
I’ll third that remark!
Sure thing!
I can’t wait to see them!
