Lol, have a tegu
What kind of snake is she?
I need to get myself one lol
I opened my tub to check on my baby Orange Crush and she decided hiding on top of her hide was a good spot to hang out
. My boy Snowfall likes to look out of the tub when i open it . I just let my snake decide on what they want to do i just put my hand out so they can smell me and know im not going to hurt them.
The hey do you got games on your phone look
Say something…I am giving up on you
Lol
I totally get a tool time vibe here. Hello neighboreno. even though Wilson never showed his face.
She’s an Egyptian egg eating snake (Dasypeltis bazi)!
This is a fun thread! I have witness plenty more derpy things that I have photos of lol! Sometimes they stop before the camera is ready
Yeah, I feel this. I don’t carry my phone with me everywhere when I’m at home, so often one of my pets will be doing something funny/adorable, but then by the time I retrieve my phone and get back to them, the moment has passed.
More sad snek face from Mina a couple weeks ago. Don’t get me wrong, I’m thrilled that she seems to feel safe being out with me, but the bigger and stronger she gets, the harder it is to wrangle her back into her tub when she doesn’t want to go back.
Yup! I also have videos but didn’t wanna clog up the tl with those lol. It’s fun watching their different personalities come out.
On the bloodpython I feel that sometimes the snake (for me I have BPs, Corns, and had 2 eastern ratsnakes) wants to go back. Sometimes they want to do everything BUT go back.
That last picture reminds me of a funny story about our old corn snake that looked a lot like that one. We were at a science teacher convention in the exhibitors hall and had a couple of snakes and lizards out. An older lady teacher wanted to hold Houdini. Well she got to talking to other teachers and my wife, and somehow didn’t notice that he went into her sleeve, around her back and poked his little head out of the top of her shirt, from under her bra. Must have been warm in that shirt. It took my wife and two other teachers about 30 minutes to get him out. Jackie was almost to the point of taking her to the lady’s room and getting him out of there. Didn’t help, probably, that everyone was laughing about the whole thing.
Yeah, my sand boa doesn’t really love being handled. She’s docile and she tolerates it, but as soon as I put her back in her enclosure, she dives under the substrate with shocking speed.
My blood python, on the other hand, can be a bit of a nightmare to get back in her enclosure. By the time I’ve grabbed the lid to her tub, she’s already climbed up my forearm and is making her way up to my shoulder. I put her back in the tub, and she immediately pops back up my arm. “Blood pythons don’t climb,” they told me. They lied.
Hahaha, that’s hilarious. I hope that woman wasn’t afraid of snakes!
She liked snakes, just not snakes in her shirt!!
