Oh my god! Reminds me of the time my ball python got stuck in some blinds and another time he got stuck in between a door and the door frame. The only move on those ones was to let him get out by himself.

Oh my goodness, I had the shutters, er, shudders about a similar memory. About the door frame, not the blinds, with a corn snake rather than a BP. Corns are slender and usually don’t get hung up. How does a corn snake get stuck under a door, you may ask? When she’s gravid, of course! 
She eventually got herself out.
I worried needlessly about that clutch. She eventually laid 20 perfect eggs which all hatched.
