Silk Back Bearded Dragons....Why?

I never thought I would find someone with such a similar opinion on this, wow!

I think anything that affects the quality of life should not be done. Anything scaleless has gone too far. These bearded dragons suffer. Very few actually end up in a home that knows what they are doing. Their care is specific and in the end they suffer

I am going to agree with you on this one. For me, as long as both the customer and the breeder are aware of the complex requirements i don’t mind them being kept. However I wouldn’t purchase an animal a that has a big difference in the complexity in care requirements from the normal (with the possibility that if the care requirements aren’t fulfilled the animal could suffer), just for looks. That being said i have nothing against anyone who keeps or enjoys silkies. :slightly_smiling_face:
