Hi! My baby leopard gecko has eyes that look almost nlack but not quite on the front side and the back is silver, is it snake eye? Just wondering because it’s not pitch black, chickpea is a 6 month old male Mack snow.

At a glance it does look like snake eye. But I always feel like it’s easier to tell in person than in a photo. Especially when the light is dim and they get the big round pupils.
Do you know if the parents were eclipse? Super snows naturally have black eyes so unless they are eclipse that doesn’t count.

I don’t know if his parents were or not, I looked again and the black side actually looks pretty black I think it was just he lighting… he isn’t a super snow though so I’m not sure if the het Macks have black eyes without eclipse too…

I mostly meant if one of the parents was super snow.
Snows will have pretty normal eyes.

Oh, sorry I misread the question, I can be a bit stupid sometimes 
lol. But yeah idk what his parents looked like 
one of his eyes is half pitch black and the other is half just really dark grey, I think that’s why I got confused… both have a silver color on the other side.
