We found some baby snakes in our backyard. Does anyone know what species it is? We are in southeastern United States.

One appears to have a white belly with black flecks. It is a dull brown color with darker and lighter flecks, as well as a darker and kind of oval-shaped head. It has a darker colored forked tongue.
The second is similar. It is similar in color but a little more red, and it has a light brown stripe running down its back. It has a similar shape but slightly skinnier, though it appears to be longer. It also has a slight checkered pattern on its sides. Also I think this one has a dark pink tongue (I don’t remember which)
Oh they also appear to be changing colors slightly. The one with checkered patterns used to be much brighter but now it’s duller, the other used to be duller now it has much more defined patterns.
