How is the little “Reba” survivor (Gemini) doing btw Olivia?
I think he’s doing well. I’m still trying to figure out how to get him to eat on his own.
Awwwww! I surely hope he can figure it out!
I’ll be able to update my Solar Serpents post.
Godspeed, young corns!
Travel will and safely, babies! Spread the wonders!
Yes fly babies fly to forever happy homes! Happy trails to you!
Took some fresh pictures of babies who are eating well and ready for sale, as well as some holdbacks.
And then there’s some first sheds for a few of these babies. A few of them are extremely saturated with red? I don’t think either parent is red factor?
Yeah, those normal/masque looking ones seem either brighter and redder or just brighter than standard wild-type after one shed.
Hmm. A couple of those do have a lot of red, don’t they? Wonder what that is.
Not sure! I mean, mom does have a bit of a pink wash. Maybe she’s red factor? I don’t think dad is. He’s a pretty standard orange sunkissed.
Looks quite similar to some of the “unknown RF” I’ve been dealing with.
Maybe so! I wouldn’t rule it out based on that pic.
First meals down for 6 of the babies. I made a little collage so I could compare their colors a little more easily. One of them, Orzo (bottom right), is extremely light.
Hooray for full bellies!!
Orzo is a lot lighter, especially his ground color. Perhaps one parent was het Palmetto and passed it on? Whoever is above Orzo looks to have somewhat lighter tones, as well.
Second shed complete for Gemini! I didn’t need to help him even a little bit! He got it off in one piece, just like a regular corn snake.
Oh my goodness! He is such a little angel! He has accomplished shedding by himself now all he has to do is learn to eat by himself! I am so happy for him!
That’s so great! I am so happy that he’s learning how to navigate the world in his unusual body.
Some new pics of babies. Tiny little Rave is making slow progress! He’s up to 4 grams now. He’s so cute, though.
Rave really is cute. And chunky for a runt!
