Hmm, not sure yet. I’ll see how she’s looking. She doesn’t really look very skinny or deflated after this little clutch, so maybe.
This is Cicada’s first season, right? Did you produce her?
Yes it is, and no I did not. She’s from Cornbred Reptiles.
Ah. I was just wondering if you knew her dam’s history. Hopefully she’ll recover from laying without issues. (Side note, I like Cornbred Reptiles!)
As opposed to “Corn Pone” Reptiles…….
More eggs! Dawn laid her clutch overnight. She did great! Got them all out without issue. I’m offering her a small meal now, which she might refuse. She looks in pretty good shape still too. Not too skinny or deflated looking, which is good! She ended up with 10 good eggs and 3 slugs.
I can’t wait for these babies!
Excellent! She looks great for post-lay.
Congratulations Olivia! We can’t wait for these babies either!!!
Congrats! Dawn looks very good for a brand-new mama! Fingers crossed that you get the Anery Scaleless babies you want!
Anery Scaleless…here we come!
This lovely lady is starting to lay her clutch tonight. Just did a quick peek, 3 good looking eggs that I can see. Can’t wait to check again in the morning! She felt really stuffed the last time I palpated her.
Hooray for eggs! I hope she’s got a big beautiful clutch when you check this morning.
Go Lark!
Oh I love that moment when you peek in and see those first eggs! Such a rush of excitement!
Wait. This isn’t Cicada or Dawn. Did I miss a third pairing? What morphs are you expecting? Obviously tessera. I’m guessing hypo or ultramel?
Did I forget to post this pairing?? Whoops!
This is Lark, ultramel super tessera het caramel, cinder, stripe to Dandelion, honey stripe het cinder. I’ll add some pics of them soon.
She ended up laying a total of 14 good eggs and 1 egg that is trying to be a good egg! It has a thin shell on nearly half of it, so I think it’s fertile, but we’ll see if it can make it through incubation. And she got them all out, which is always a huge relief!
That’s wonderful! So glad that Lark got her clutch laid. That is a lovely pairing. The sire is quite a heart-throb to my eyes.
I love this description! Fingers crossed for 15 beautiful Tessera babies from these eggs.
Wow! I think that’s my favorite pairing of yours! Is the honey stripe het cinder from Dean??? Can’t wait to see those babies.
Yes he is!
