Sunglow/Supersunglow/albino ID help needed Hypo het. sharp x Motley sunglow pairing

Hi! I recently had a litter from a Hypo het. sharp x Motley sunglow paring, got a grand total of 22 live babies, 8 of which are albino, however I’m having some trouble IDing the Albinos from Sunglows and super sunglows. I’d appreciate any help. The pic quality is not the greatest but I hope it’s good enough. Here are the little babies:

They look great! But trying to figure out some of the genetics isn’t nearly as fun as I was expecting

I see what you mean about trying to figure out some of these guys.

This is only my opinion / guess, as I don’t breed sharp albinos only Kahl. I know sharp’s have a little different look to them.

For me, it’s easier to figure out supers the same day they are born. When they are just out of the goo. They have a very distinctive look to them. Very clean but dull looking compared to the other babies. Their tail saddles have no white ring around them. However, in a day or two, they kind of blend in with the others until they shed.

Here is a picture of my babies the day they were born, and you can see what I mean about the supers.

As far as I know, super hypos can’t be motley, too. As hypo and motley are on the same genetic spectrum.

By the way, very nice-looking babies, congratulations. Are there any other genetics in them? It looks like they could have jungle in them to me.

Besides the basic pattern in motleys like the square connected saddle pattern. I look for a striped or laddertail, head strip arrow pattern,

1 sunglow motley.

2 sunglow

3 sunglow, maybe a motley, too. It has square saddles, but they are not connected. Very small head arrow.

4 sunglow motley.

5 sunglow. I’m pretty sure it’s just a sunglow.

6 sunglow, maybe a motley, too. It has square saddles, but they are not connected. Very small head arrow.

7 sunglow motley

8 sunglow

3, 5, and 6 I would like to see good pictures of them after they shed to be sure about them.

Post some pictures of the other babies, too.

Take care. I hope all this helped.

Thanks! All of them should be after their first sheds already. I’m pretty sure there are no other genes, the other babies are pretty straight forward: 2 normals, 3 Motleys, 4 Hypos, 5 Hypo motleys, some of the hypo motleys do have a funky pattern so I can grab pictures of them later just to make sure.

Do you know if the motley gene is Colombian or Central American Motley?

Also, I know hypo can mess with the pattern in boas to. Think that is where the motley stripes pattern in yours may be coming from.

I really like # 22.

If your boas were Kahl, I would see if you wanted to do some even trades. So we both could get some unrelated blood in our boa collections. Like numbers 22 and 4.

Your # 22 reminds me of my female I have.
You should keep # 22.

The day she was born. May 16 2019.

Here she is now. August 11 2024.

They are Colombian, CA motleys aren’t nearly as common in the EU as Colombian, unfortunately I’m Slovak, so we wouldn’t be able to trade even if they were Kahl. I also tend to see Sharp more often than Kahl locally, is Kahl more available in the US?
That’s a really nice motley female by the way

Kahl and Sharp are both easy to get / find in the USA.

Thanks for the compliment on my boa she is also het Kahl albino and is 50% Northern Brazilian BCC.
