I breed my own feeder rodents and I just had a terrible accident happen with one of my hopper mice. I had taken my mouse breeder bin down to give them some fresh water and food and I guess it spooked the hopper babies and they scattered, one hit its head and started seizing and going stiff. I thought it had died instantly but when I took it out to assess what happened it came back and started moving around and has since become somewhat normal again…
I feel absolutely terrible for this and I’m unsure of what to do. I’ve been monitoring it and it has been walking around as if it is ok but I’m wondering if I should cull it. It was going to be a feeder anyway but I really don’t want it to suffer if this is something it wont recover from…
