Btw…I never asked…but you never said… what was your girl’s name?? Curious
Her name was Thing 2 the male I named Thing 1. I try and come up with funny names for snakes I use for school educational shows. Had a purple phase albino retic I named SpongeBob. Unfortunately he passed away with a 1 lb tumor in him. The kids loved him.

Mines are named after mario characters. Goomba, diddy kong and goombella.
Only issue ive ever had are hunger strikes. I have 2021 female refuse for 9wks before i decided to assist feed. She still isnt wanting to eat on her own. Nothing in her world has changed. Shes eaten numerous times on her own for me before. She even refused chicks.
Dumeril’s are quite high up on the list of species I’d love to have some day. Everyone I know who’s had one says they’re the absolute best. And I think they’re so gorgeous, and a great size. Big enough to be impressive without being too huge to manage.
They do cost a pretty penny, though. A little out of my price range at the moment…but one day.
