My geckos have these white dots the size of a pin head on the top of their heads. Is it old skin? Or some kind of deficiency? I’ll get pics later when they’re awake.
If they were housed together (which I don’t recommend) it is most likely small little flakes of skin from fussing and nipping at each other. Which is the first sign to keep them separate. You’ll probably see the same little spots on the tail or neck of the girl too if they’re breeding age.
Photos will definitely help us figure it out though!
Just took a quick peek at your ID photos and I can really see it on Bean. It does look like flaked skin. It can also happen if they had bad sheds or were fed crickets and there were too many and they picked at him while he was trying to sleep.
Ok, and yeah, the pet store had them housed together, we are getting them separate tanks though we already have the tank we just need to get better supplies and set it up, so far the don’t seem to notice each other so we are going to wait until e]we have time, is it something really urgent or can we wait until Saturday? Thanks!
It can probably wait til Saturday, but if it looks worse sooner or you see a fresh looking bite on either, definitely do it sooner. Remember they’ll be most active when we can’t watch them
