I might be getting a hognose soon, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips or anything y’all would want to share!

I only have one hog, and I’m no expert in their care, so I’ll just tell you a strange thing to expect. My male is the noisiest snake I own. He’s always scraping and tapping his tub. Sometimes I hear him from rooms away.

Wow! I had no idea hognoses could be so loud! I was also wondering what type of heat do you use, and do you use uvb?

My hognose is in a tub with a heat mat under one side and no UVB….
