Topped up water in incubation box

So i topped up the water in the incubation box.
I can now see the water (not touching eggs) halfway up the perlite.

Is this dangerous i normally use a 1:1 ratio but think i messed up on this one.

Will the eggs be okay or should i redo the tray?

As long as the water is not and can not touch the eggs it’s fine.

As @ballornothing stated, if it’s not touching it’ll be fine. I stopped using 1:1 ratio and just went with Hatchrite so I didn’t have to mess with anything, ha-ha. You can always look into that if you get uncomfortable using the 1:1 ratio again

Hi, first welcome to the community, have fun and post lots
I dont bother with the stress of water ratios and have no problem.
Like the advice of the two members above, if the water is not touching the eggs, your fine…
I use an egg crate and over saturate but make sure the water is not touching the eggs. (that way it lasts longer) Regardless of substrate I use.
Nice and easy and never any problems.
Another trick is to poke a few holes in the tub just below the egg crate, that way if you over fill, it will just drain out.

Hello @morphs2523 and welcome to the forum! I’m not a breeder but you already have great advice from some of the experts here.

I wish you the very best at hatching those eggs and producing some beautiful healthy babies! Remember we all love pictures as well!:jack_o_lantern:
